University of Oxford and the Support-HF research team know you care about how your information is used and shared. We take protecting your privacy very seriously. Please read the following to learn more about how we use and protect information collected through the Support-HF App (the “App”).
By using the App in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in the Support-HF Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”).
You consent that we will collect, use, and share your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of information that we gather when you are accessing or using the App. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies or institutions that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.
Your use of the App will allow you to provide us information, including but not limited to information about your cardiovascular health. The App collects your information for the purposes of a research study being conducted at University of Oxford called the “Support-HF” (the “Study”). If you are not a participant of the study you will not be able to use it.
Only information in regards to the study research objectives: readings (weight, blood pressure) and health questionnaires. Identifiable information will not be requested, collected or transfered in any way.
In addition to the information that the user manually enters, the App also collects certain information in regards to usage of the App and connectivity status.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of November 22, 2016. We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. New versions of this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted to our website at the following link: http://supporthf.org/privacy-policy.html.
